The private residence is placed on an inclined plot with a view to the western coast of Paphos. The shape of the ground led to the set up of two long parallel walls which define the space of the house and frame the view towards the sea. These two linear boundaries are interrupted by recesses and projections which define and are defined by the organization of the interior space. The recesses formulate two patios where the main entrance and the staircase are placed.
The interior spaces of the residence are organized in three floors, each of them of different length according to the inclined ground and with a direct access from the road. The guest house is placed on the lower level. The main spaces of the house blend into each other on the intermediate level. The private spaces are placed in a linear sequence on the upper level. The kinesis is directed in a close relationship to the recesses and projections of the linear boundaries providing different experiences of interaction between the interior and the exterior.
